Open Letter to the Greatness Within

I want to share with you a moment of inspiration that I had that inspired me to write this poem. I share it because it reminds me of the amazing results that can come from two people connecting on a deep level. When you strip away ego and expectations and come away with an experience that stays with you forever.

I motivate and inspire people for a living but it never ceases to amaze me how much I actually gain from the people that I help (talk about a win/win). I am blessed to have the opportunity to experience this on a daily basis and to see the effects that it makes in the lives of others.

In this particular case, I became so inspired that I wrote what I call...

“An Open Letter To The Greatness Within”.

Keep in mind that I didn't write this speaking to you, I wrote it speaking to YOU!

The YOU deep inside all of us, read it from that perspective to get the most impact.

You don’t have to try to impress me… I was impressed the moment I saw you.

You don’t have to search for my acceptance… I accept you exactly the way you are.

You don’t have to make yourself seem bigger or better… you are amazing just the way you are.

You don’t have to vie for my attention… you already have all of it.

You don’t have to try to be… you already are.

You don’t have to speak louder in order to be heard… I’m already hanging on every word.

You don’t to try to be anything except for what you already are… you are and always will be more than enough for me.

I accept, respect, admire, and love you simply because you are…

THE GREATNESS WITHIN.

I hope this reminds you that you are amazing the way you are and a gift to this world. Remember that much of the beauty of living is experienced during the journey. Make sure to stop and appreciate all that life is while your going through it, for there is a lot you can miss if you you are just worried about the outcome.
