Why Never Making a Lot of Money Isn't the End of the World

I know that this is a taboo topic for many, but bear with me for a bit.

It's natural to feel a certain level of anxiety or pressure when it comes to our finances. After all, money is what we use to meet our basic needs and to help us achieve our goals and dreams.

However, it's important to remember that money isn't the only measure of success, and that there are many other things in life that are just as valuable, if not more so.

If you've never made a lot of money, it's understandable that you might feel a sense of disappointment or even shame. Perhaps you compare yourself to others who seem to be doing better financially, or you worry that you haven't lived up to your own expectations.

It's extremely important to remember that money doesn't define your worth as a person, and that there are many other ways to measure success and happiness.

Here are some things to keep in mind if you're struggling with the idea of never having made "a lot of money":

  • Money isn't the only measure of success. While financial stability is important, there are many other things in life that can bring us happiness and fulfillment. For example, having close relationships, pursuing our passions, and making a positive impact on the world can all be sources of great joy and satisfaction.

  • Everyone's journey is different. It's easy to compare ourselves to others and feel like we're falling short, but the truth is that everyone's path in life is unique. Some people may have had more opportunities or advantages than others, and that's okay. What matters is that you focus on your own journey and do the best you can with the resources you have.

  • There's more to life than money. While financial stability is important, it's not the only thing that matters in life. Take some time to reflect on what's truly important to you and what brings you joy and fulfillment. This could include spending time with loved ones, pursuing hobbies or passions, or making a positive impact on your community.

  • It's never too late to make a change. In this day and age, there are more opportunities than ever to change your money situation. If you're not happy with your current financial situation, remember that it's never too late to make a change. Start by setting some financial goals and creating a plan to achieve them. This could involve finding ways to increase your income, reducing your expenses, or seeking out opportunities for personal or professional growth.

You may want to ask yourself why you are chasing money instead of other things that your life has to offer.

While it's natural to feel a certain level of anxiety or pressure when it comes to our finances, it's important to remember that money isn't the only measure of success. By focusing on the things that truly matter to us and taking proactive steps to improve our financial situation, we can find joy, fulfillment, and success in many different areas of our lives.
